Lake Echo Fellowship Baptist Church was formed in 1987 by a group
of people from Eastern Shore communities who traveled to
Dartmouth for church services, and decided to have a
local church; it is a daughter work of Forest Hills
Fellowship Baptist Church. LEFBC is a member of the
Fellowship Baptists, a ministry of about 500 churches, a
fellowship of churches of like faith and practice across
Canada. We first met in Bell Park Academic Center in
Lake Echo and then built our first building in 1990 in
Mineville. We expanded in 1998, and again in 2005/6. The
new 300-seat auditorium, Fellowship Hall, and other
facilities were opened for use in April, 2006. |
